Waxing Games And Salon

Lowest Show on Earth

this review should I have for months but, as you will observe, this blog lately is that breeding cobwebs and absorbed my life (too much) intensity.

I was lucky that Felix J. Palma I signed the book at the Book Fair of Seville. I doubt the virtuosity that sometimes reached into my social awkwardness many people as equals, there I was exhausted, fresh from a conference in Granada, shy and intimidated, by all that you never thought to do to find someone who does not know but who want to impress. Believe suspect that a clash of shyness that leads to the embarrassing finding that none actually know what make. And the timid converted operate perfectly in any situation except when we are shy in front of another converted that force, you know our secret.

And tell you all this, airing my little known defects (ahem), to introduce the theme of the book. Come to the review and the author of the theme is love and the juggling to which we obliged, but I guess that could further abstract theme of the nine stories in the volume. The minimum common factor that makes us wonder which reality Sometimes, the sense of ridicule to which we overcome certain challenges before surreal life, exercise of skill we have to run with a master invented on the fly. And they say that God squeezes but does not drown, and yet we are begging for oxygen tanks on street corners. It is true that this alienation of the human being wisely reality is represented by the author under the complex prism of love in its many forms, but it will be that of a time now, so easily unhinged me in my life that I think can be raised awe to lifestyle. And to top that this disturbance is nothing better than to produce it from the fantasy genre, from the emergence the extraordinary in our stock only apparently vulgar, gender also mastered to perfection by the author.

As always, delivers a speech peppered with metaphors, sometimes so hard to digest if you want to savor in depth. A wild but precise language whose step had to get used right out of the desert as it was Carver's Cathedral. Basting in a seemingly endless web that like to follow with your fingers. Playing with Words. Best of all, this irony in the text that makes you happy partner of the knife thrower.

Of all the stories in the book I keep, as they have done others, "Margabarismos" in which to regain the love of his wife required the intervention of the unusual. And I add "One word from you" out of compassion for its protagonist forced to suffer calamities funny and frightening at once.

I recommend to everyone, but particularly those you have not read anything by Felix J. Palma to enjoy discovering. The great achievements of this author are empathy with the reader, the ability to get to have fun and flattery at its discretion, and that the quality and the game are not at odds as much as to endeavor some, get your balance is only matter of some rare circus skills. Come

will fall into the mandatory sentence in the review of this book ... Come and read! ;)
